Midjourney is so good at creating creative visuals that it almost feels magical and unreal. So, how does it work behind the scenes? Midjourney works by blending large language models and diffusion models. When you give it a prompt, the language model grasps the meaning, transforming it into a numerical vector – a sort of numerical code for your prompt. • You need to create a Discord account first to start using Midjourney.

• Then, create a Midjourney account.

• Jump onto the Midjourney Server in Discord. On the left, find the server list, hit the Plus icon (+) at the bottom Choose "Join a Server" in the pop-up Paste or type this URL: http://discord.gg/midjourney. Click the Join Server button, and you're set to explore the Midjourney Bot's journey.

• Choose one of the newbie groups to start prompting for amazing AI art.

How Prompting Works

• All creations start with the command: /imagine. Then, you descriptively write your prompt.

• Then, the most commonly used command is /describe and /info. With the /describe command, you can upload any image by simply dragging and dropping it into the box for MJ to explain the visual content. The /info command gives information about your account such as the AI generation credit you have and your subscription plan, etc.

• After writing your prompt end it with the version you'd like your AI art to be created in with a --V5 or --V6 meaning it is to be created by Version 5 or 6.

• One other important parameter is the aspect ratio and you determine it by writing --AR 1:1, --AR 9:16, or --ar 16:9, and they are square, vertical, or horizontal aspect ratios
